Full of Options
Activ8 is a program of enrichment and sports camps created for kids that
allows them to make their own schedule. Our classes
consist of fun, hands-on learning without the pressure of homework,
tests, or quizzes. Classes fall in a variety of categories:
• 3 R's: Considered the most
educational aspect of our programs, we take reading, writing, and
arithmetic and make them as fun as they can possibly be.
• Create-a-lot: You have never seen this many arts and
crafts options in one place.
•Global: Travel the world and learn a new language as you
take to the virtual skies.
• iTech: Build computer skills and even learn how to design
your own game.
• Scienceologies: Since there are no textbooks, you get to
participate in hands-on, in-and-around experiments and
other fun projects.
• Showbiz: Find anything that belongs on stage or on the
screen in these classes. Oh yeah, we will have a major
performance at the end of the summer called Studio A8.
• Sports and Dance: Multi-sports and a variety of dance
classes will keep you active all summer.
• Trendy: Whatever is popular today, we have created a
class for it!
• Ur Life: Classes designed to make your life better, now
and later.
Built for You
Any child 8-14 years old can come and experience this children’s
phenomenon. The classes will be broken down into two different age
groups: 8-11 and 11-14. We also have programs for 4-7 year olds at the
Elizabeth Bradley Turner Center.
Flexible Schedule
The programs begin on June 1 and run through July 31. Classes run from
9:00 am-Noon and 1:00-4:00 pm Monday through Friday (No class on July
3). We offer Before Care
so children can be dropped off any time after 7:00 am and After Care so
children can stay until 6:00 pm. During lunch, we offer different
options for kids to eat.
Safe
All of our Activ8 instructors are certified teachers or professionals in
their field and are passionate about the programs they are teaching. Our
program aides assist the instructor in the classroom and provide
supervision throughout the day. All of our employees have passed
criminal background checks and go through a training process.
Unparalleled
Only at Activ8 can your child choose a new schedule every week. Kids can
pick from 10 or more classes each morning and afternoon to build a
schedule they will be excited about
all summer. See pages 16-19 for help building your schedule. Plus, there
is no safer and better learning environment for your child to be in. We
keep our camps at a maximum of 8
kids to each adult and our program aides are always there to make sure
they know where your child is at all times.
